DHS/FEMA Courses

A partnership with the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) National Emergency Response and Recovery Training Center (NERRTC), funded through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), promotes in-person courses for multi-agency teams preparing for sports and special events. Courses focus on risk management, incident management, evacuation and protective actions, crisis communications, and crowd management. The NCS⁴ has trained over 48,000 multi-disciplined professionals representing over 1,000 organizations responsible for the safety and security of sporting and special events.
