CISA and NCS⁴ Release Stadium Spotlight: Connected Devices and Integrated Security Considerations

Stadiums could be vulnerable to increasing cyber threats that have physical consequences. As monitoring and control technologies and connected devices become further integrated into stadium operations, new vectors for a disruptive attack are emerging.

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), in partnership with the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS⁴), created the Stadium Spotlight: Connected Devices and Integrated Security Considerations to begin mitigating these risks. This product provides stadium operators and the broader critical infrastructure community with a quick-hit resource that highlights the connected stadium environment, key vulnerabilities and consequences, and recommended enterprise- and asset-level risk mitigations.
