A total of nine professionals will be recognized for their contributions to NCS⁴ during the 2021 National Sports Safety and Security Conference & Exhibition set for Nov. 9-10 in Phoenix. This year’s theme is Reconnect. Reflect. Inspire. and boasts the most exhibitors and sponsors in conference history. The event is presented annually by the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS⁴) at The University of Southern Mississippi.

The Friends of NCS⁴ Award recognizes professionals whose contributions have been invaluable to the advancement of the Center. The NCS⁴ staff and leadership nominate individuals who have been a resource to the Center’s goals and activities during the past year.

Ryan Zatolokin to Receive Technology Alliance Member of the Year at National Sports Safety and Security Conference & Exhibition

Ryan Zatolokin, Axis Communications’ Senior Technologist for New Projects - Americas, will be recognized as NCS⁴’s Technology Alliance Member of the Year during the 2021 National Sports Safety and Security Conference & Exhibition set for Nov. 9-10 in Phoenix. This year’s theme is Reconnect. Reflect. Inspire. and boasts the most exhibitors and sponsors in conference history. The event is presented annually by the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS⁴) at The University of Southern Mississippi.

The Technology Alliance Member of the Year Award recognizes a member of the Sports and Entertainment Technology Alliance who has demonstrated a high level of commitment to research and training addressing industry needs in sports safety and security. The 2021 Sports and Entertainment Technology Alliance members are Axis Communications, Esri, Honeywell Building Technologies, Intel, Johnson Controls, Microsoft, Patriot One Technologies, and S2 Global.

Six Individuals to be Honored as Emerging Industry Leaders at National Sports Safety and Security Conference & Exhibition

A total of six professionals will be recognized for their leadership in addressing safety and security issues during the 2021 National Sports Safety and Security Conference & Exhibition set for Nov. 9-10 in Phoenix. This year’s theme is Reconnect. Reflect. Inspire. and boasts the most exhibitors and sponsors in conference history. The event is presented annually by the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS⁴) at The University of Southern Mississippi.

“The Emerging Industry Leader Award allows professional leagues, NCAA member institutions, marathon and endurance events organizations, and interscholastic athletics programs to honor individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in addressing safety and security related issues,” said Brooke Graves, MSCJ, NREMT, NCS⁴ Senior Training Manager and Awards Luncheon Master of Ceremonies. “These contributions involve enhancing safety and security at their venue beyond what is normally required and setting an example for other young aspiring sports security professionals to follow.

A total of seven sports facilities will be recognized for their leadership in addressing safety and security issues as part of the 2021 National Sports Safety and Security Conference & Exhibition set for Nov. 9-10 in Phoenix. This year’s theme is Reconnect. Reflect. Inspire. The event is presented annually by the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS⁴) at The University of Southern Mississippi.

The Facility of Merit Award recognizes a facility that has performed above and beyond normal operations to demonstrate an innovative approach to enhancing safety and security. The chosen facility may also have resolved a significant safety/security issue or incident.
