NCS⁴ Partners with DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency (CISA) on Touchless Screening Annex
The National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS⁴) is excited to announce the publication of the Public Venue Security Screening Guide – Touchless Screening Annex, produced in collaboration with the DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).
The Touchless Screening Annex offers best practices for non-contact screening procedures that stakeholders may implement in addition to the screening procedures outlined in the previously-released Public Venue Security Screening Guide. The Annex is intended for use at public venues hosting various events, including sporting events, concerts, fairs and family festivals, conventions, theme parks, and other events or functions where Americans gather.

The National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS⁴) has concluded a successful 12th Annual National Sports Safety and Security Conference & Exhibition with nearly 400 people in attendance.
The conference was held November 9-10 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix in conjunction with Title Sponsor, Aluma. The 2021 conference theme was Reconnect. Reflect. Inspire. and boasted the most exhibitors and sponsors in conference history.

A total of nine professionals will be recognized for their contributions to NCS4 during the 2021 National Sports Safety and Security Conference & Exhibition set for Nov. 9-10 in Phoenix. This year’s theme is Reconnect. Reflect. Inspire. and boasts the most exhibitors and sponsors in conference history. The event is presented annually by the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4) at The University of Southern Mississippi.
The Friends of NCS⁴ Award recognizes professionals whose contributions have been invaluable to the advancement of the Center. The NCS4 staff and leadership nominate individuals who have been a resource to the Center’s goals and activities during the past year.
